I am in love with this brand! The 16 oz. are great for sparring and practicing powerful punches in the shield as they offer lots of protection. The quality is excellent, and it costs the same as a mid-tier glove that lasts for only 1 year. I imagine these are going to last me at least 3. I got only one pair and I am waiting for a promotion to buy my second.

A Word from the Founder
Our gloves tell stories.
The idea for Gladius came to me while I was teaching boxing classes at a local gym in Panama City. One day, I noticed that one of my most succesful students had written on his gloves with a permanent marker: "The bigger the dragon, the stronger the hero."
In that moment, I instantly knew why he had so much success in traning. It was all about the story he told himself everyday. He welcomed challenges because he knew it would make him stronger. That moment changed how I saw fighting gear forever.
For too long, the fight game has been obssessed with tech improvements, but forgot the essence of what gloves really stand for.
Don't get me wrong, technology does matter. A good pair of fight gloves should protect your hand, support your wrist and help you strike or grapple with precision.
But champions aren't built by tech. They're built by the stories they tell themselves.
Fighting is a mental game. Many fights are won, or lost, before the bell even rings. That's why I believe gloves shouldn't just protect you; they need to inspire you and remind you the stories you choose to unleash your inner strenght.
That's why I created Gladius with a team that share this vision. To bring back meaning to our gear. To create gloves inspired in history, mithology, natural wonders and many other eternal tales that capture our imagination.
While we respect other glove manufacturers and learned much from them, we believe Gladius is not an average glove. We live by the credo that we are in the business of crafting our modern-day swords of battle.
And as any warrior knows, these swords are an extension of your fighter soul.
