The Gladius Gladiator is where strength and tradition converge. With its sleek black design inspired by the armor of ancient warriors, this glove embodies authority, resilience, and the unyielding spirit of a true fighter. It’s a tribute to the gladiators who dominated the arena and a reminder that every punch carries the weight of history.

Why choose Gladius?
At Gladius, every glove tells a story.
Inspired by ancient warriors and their swords, we design gloves to elevate your game and to be your weapon in the octagon or the ring. Each pair is the result of hours of meticulous design and testing, trusted by fighters who demand excellence.
Here’s why Gladius stands apart:
- Timeless Design: Our gloves are crafted to endure, blending cultural inspiration with fighting tradition. These aren’t just gloves—they’re works of art.
- Grip-Focused Craft: Designed for serious fighters, our gloves prioritize grip and precision over fluff. Feel the power in every punch.
- Craftsmanship: Like the blades of old, our gloves are forged with a human touch, blending artisanal skill with modern performance.
- Lifetime Club: Join a community of passionate fighters. First-time buyers receive automatic membership with 10% OFF in Gladius for life.
Who should not buy it?
At Gladius, transparency is key. While we take pride in crafting gloves of unmatched quality and performance, we know they aren’t for everyone. Here’s who we don’t recommend Gladius gloves for:
- Beginners: If you’ve been training for less than six months, our gloves might feel overbuilt for your current needs. Start simple, build your foundation, and come back when you’re ready to master the craft.
- Fitness Fighters: If your focus is fitness over fighting fundamentals, Gladius gloves may not align with your goals. They’re designed for fighters honing their art, not just breaking a sweat.
- Comfort-First Users: Our gloves are snug and grip-focused, built for precision and performance. If you prefer a looser, pillow-like feel, Gladius won’t be the right fit.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Doubts about your purchase? We can help.
Do you ship to my country?
Yes. We ship orders worldwide. 🌍
Orders within the US qualify for free shipping, while international orders incur a shipping fee based on the distance from our warehouse.
What size should I buy?
Glove size is a personal choice for every fighter. We recommend checking our Ounces and Sizes Guide (just scroll up on this page) for detailed guidance.
If you’re still unsure, a 14oz glove is always a safe bet—it’s the most versatile option, perfect for training and sparring, and fits comfortably for 99% of users.
What is the glove material?
Our gloves are crafted from genuine cowhide leather, renowned for its durability, comfort, and ability to withstand the toughest training sessions. This allows the glove to mold to your hands over time, offering a personalized fit while maintaining the resilience needed for long-term use.
What’s the difference between training, sparring, and bag gloves?
Training gloves are versatile, designed for all-around use, including mitt work, bag work, and light to moderate sparring. They offer a balance of protection, comfort, and functionality.
Sparring gloves are specifically padded to protect both you and your partner during sparring sessions. With softer padding to minimize impact, they are heavier (usually 16oz to 18oz), which can make them less comfortable for extended training sessions. Their primary purpose is safety during sparring.
Bag gloves are built for durability and are ideal for heavy bag work. They feature dense padding designed to absorb the force of repeated strikes without wearing down. However, they are not recommended for sparring, as their stiff padding can cause unnecessary harm to training partners.
Professional fighters often keep an arsenal with at least one glove of each type, tailored to specific training needs. For amateur fighters, a high-quality training glove is the best investment due to its versatility across different training scenarios.
Gladius' gloves are generally considered training gloves by experts.
How do I know if my gloves fit correctly?
Properly fitting gloves should feel snug but not overly tight. Your fingers should reach the end of the glove without feeling cramped, and the glove should wrap securely around your wrist when fastened. You should also be able to make a full fist comfortably without excessive resistance or slack.
To test the fit, wear hand wraps, as they will add some bulk and ensure your gloves fit properly with them on. If your gloves feel loose, overly tight, or cause discomfort, they may not be the right size or style for you.
If you’ve purchased a Gladius glove and feel it’s not the right size, don’t worry! Send us a message, and we’ll gladly assist you in exchanging it for a bigger or smaller model to ensure you have the perfect tool for your training.
How do I take care of my gloves?
All Gladius gloves come with care instructions included in your delivery box. Here are our top recommendations to keep your gloves in prime condition:
- Air them out after every session, let your gloves breathe. Open them up to dry and avoid trapping moisture.
- Keep them fresh by applying a bit of glove deodorizers or inserts to absorb sweat.
- Wipe them down weekly with a damp cloth to clean the surface.
- Store it in a cool, dry place —never in a sealed bag for extended periods or exposed to sunlight for more than two hours.
- Condition the leather every 1-2 months with a quality leather balm.
Remember, your glove is your battle sword, and a master always cares for their tools.

Help us fight counterfeit
Unfortunately, Gladius gloves have recently fallen victim to counterfeiting. While it’s flattering that our designs are popular, we don’t want anyone misled by fake products that tarnish our reputation for handmade craftsmanship.
Here’s how to identify if your Gladius gloves are counterfeit:
- Missing or incorrect iconic seal: All Gladius gloves feature a unique seal that reflects the model’s inspiration. If your gloves lack this seal or it looks different from what’s advertised, they’re counterfeit.
- Poor stitching or differences in the cuff label: Compare the stitching and cuff label on your gloves to photos of our official models. You can find these on our Instagram page. If they don’t match, they’re likely fake.
- Missing packaging: Every pair of Gladius gloves comes in a signature black box, along with a care guide and a unique lifetime club code for 10% off future purchases. If these are missing, the gloves are counterfeit.
If you believe you’ve been misled, we’re sorry to hear this. Our team is working hard to combat scammers, and we’d greatly appreciate any information you can share about your case.
